1. How to install Safari extension

Note - if you have a pop up blocker installed, please pause or disable it during the installation process to avoid any disruptions. 

1. Log in to your Publicate account and click on Settings.

Locate Safari and click on Connect.
​  


3. A pop up window will open and ask you to allow Downloads. Click Allow.
​  

   
​ 4. This will automatically download the extension and save it in your Downloads folder. Locate the file and open it.
​  

  5. To continue, drag the Publicate logo from left to right, into the Applications area.

 
6. Now click on Launchpad and open the Publicate extension. You will get a pop up window asking for permission to open. Click Open.

7.  In the next pop up window, click on the Check Extension is Turned On in Preferences button. And check the box next to the Publicate logo to enable.

8.  Close the window and your extension is now ready to use!

2. How to save content to your content library using the extension.

    

1. Once you've downloaded and installed the extension, you may need to reload your Safari browser and log back into your Publicate account. 

2. You will now see the Publicate logo next to the address bar. Click on the logo.

3. The first time you click on the Publicate extension, you will be asked to give it permission. Click on Accept to continue.

4. Click on the extension again to save content to your library, add tags if needed, and click Apply. Your content will be automatically added to your Publicate library.

3. How to use the extension to send mobile responsive newsletters from Gmail

    

1. To send mobile responsive newsletters from Gmail, click on Compose.

2. You should now see a new button next to your usual Send button, called Insert Publication. If you get a pop up window asking for permission at this point, click Accept to continue.  
​  

3. Click on the button to view the newsletters in your library. To select a newsletter to send, just click on the relevant preview image.

     

   
4.  Once added, your newsletter is ready to send!
